Great comiso! The pictures are just as facinating now as they were the first time I saw them. The Marine looking back with the cigarette is a favorite.

I would also recommend the book "Great Photographs Of World War II", from TIME-LIFE. 300 pages of great photos. For those who collect WW II books, it's one you gotta have for your collection.

The dead soldiers on the beach (first one) is what got my interest in NG.

In fact Mr. Comiso, I have the "Life Goes To War" book my parents bought me way back then. Its on my bookshelf and I am glancing at it as I am writing this.
