Grandpa and Penny getting some time together on 08Aug. A few hours later I flew home but not before booking another trip to Saskatchewan from Dec. 23 to Jan 06.
Grandpa needs a shave and Penny had just eaten some berries and needed to catch up with her hair brush.

This weekend I drove my granddaughter 1500 kilometers to her university in Thunder Bay Ontario. I am overnighting at my son's house in Geraldton and will return home tomorrow. Just over 3000 kms in roughly 62 hours total time, 36 hours of driving by the time I get home tomorrow.
The original plan was to stay in Geraldton for two days and do some fishing but the weather is going to crap so I leave tomorrow morning.
There is some spectacular scenery in Northern Ontario and the short video was taken this afternoon on my drive back from Thunder Bay to Geraldton. It was shot by Helen Lake just outside of Nipigon Ontario.

My little girl is 20 months old now and went out for Halloween tonight. Her first time walking house to house to get her treats. May be the grandpa in me but I think she is pretty gosh darned adorable.
