Yo they shot most they shot down were soviets weren't they?

Hey how come finland sweden denmark and iceland have sort of the same flag but with different colours???

Stuka, you forgot Norway - and I read from somewhere that there's a cross in Finnish flag because it's a part of nordic flag tradition. Does that mean tha we have copied that from Sweden? Oh no!

Yeah it must be that hey do ya like my spitfire xD???

JG 51 : over 9,000 kills east and western fronts

JG 54 : 9,400 kills east and western fronts. In fact when III./JG 54 was stationed in Normandie in 1944, it had the highest number of Allied claims during the campaign. At the time it was equipped with the Fw 190A-8.

I appreciate the help with this. One of the things I am wondering about it that it seems to me that kill-loss ratios are often skewed. For example, many of the aircraft that have stats posted for did not see as much action or saw action against signigicantly inferior oppontents that tends to inflate their kill-loss ratios. Furthermore, when discussing such ratios, often ALL losses (weather, pilot error, collision, AA fire, and air-to-ait losses) are factored in. Obviously, the Tiffy and T-bolt will take considerably higher losses that an predominately air-to-air fighter like the Mustang. What are the thoughts about using enemy kills/ aircraft produced as a measure of judging effectiveness? Note that I do not believe ANY statistic can truly measure the effectiveness of an airplane but I feel this might be a more objective way of looking at things.

Hey a finn, that B-239 is Levl 24, correct? Oh yeah, I also saw that episode of Conan O'Brien. One more question, in Finland, do you learn FInnish and English in school-like in Germany-or did you learn on your own? (this question would more than likely be answered if I knew your age...)

GRG, both at school and myself, and as for the age question, I'm over 35 years old geezer. So, I'm really an Senior Airman :)
And yes that is LeLv 24 Brewster, Lt. Lauri Pekuri was the last man to fly it, it was shot down 25th of June 1942 and salvaged later (1998) from a lake in Karelia (Russia).
There was also something else I had in mind... Oh yes, Stuka, no we don't hate each other in nordic countries - there's just eternal rivalry between Finland and Sweden.
