Been away from this with other things, so please excuse the slow progress.
The start of the conversion from Z-XII to Z-212: 2 mm cut from the nose to compensate for the longer cowls of the Walter Mikron motor.
Cockpit interior detail stripped and fueslage thinned as close as possible to scale thickness without weakening the structure.
Next up: final polishing and detailing with thin scrap card, etc.
Btw: thinking of cutting out the pilot's (rear) entry hatch and displaying it open. Your opinions?

I copied that. But I can't drink coffee.... you know. If you would do that I would have some problems with my BP. Anyway I wouldn't want to burst myself....
