This bloke did the Beau diorama last year which is now at Morrabbin Air Museum with their full size RAAF Beau. Need to get down for another look really.

Sure was a big display!

Yep, it's a real corker! Lucky Phil should be justly pleased and proud of that one, a cracking job, and certainly very worthy of public display. It was this sort of diorama, in the Imperial War Museum, London, that really got me deep into modelling, almost fifty years ago. A great inspiriration.

Undoubtedly the heavy landing...looking very nice in the orange "uniform".:)
 
Trying to get up - and take a photograph! I think he's supposed to be an allied cameraman? Different - I wonder if it started out as modelling a heavy landing or wreck, or just ended up that way?!!!
 
Probably thinking "where the h#%@ do I put the jack?"

Great models, very impressive stuff there.
