I just started playing with it this morning, and have a lot to learn about it. It's pretty cool so far. My website is link off my profile there, but I probably should link my website directly too. Great idea.

So far, it has had a little action, but I had some recycled stuff up there. Today, I posted something brand new, a little piece to help out the non-aviation media, the difference between a machine gun and a pitot tube.

Ouch - I shouldn't be surprised your lesson is necessary, but it still hurts
To get very technical - wouldn't the A6M have the machine guns in the cowl and the cannon in the wings? If I remember Tony's teachings correctly, the Oerlikon copies used by the Japanese Navy were advance primer ignition guns which by design were unsuitable for synchronization, so they would have to be carried outside the propeller disk.
