Still have to be more carefull when wet sanding, mr color is more delicate then revell enamel.
Is this color what you are refering to Wayne...( at least closer..))???

Yes, other than the slight gloss effect, that looks like Kawanishi green to me.

The darker shade in the latter photo's certainly reflects "Kawanishi Deep dark Green"

I think I finally got the hang of it and achieved the effect quite close....
on the bare plastic alclad dural alu...then alclad clear...then the Gunze mix in a very shallow coat....dry....grid 3000 wet sanding with the sandpaper barely touching the surface...just to clear the rivets...
Me think ready for the plane...!!!
