Still have to be more carefull when wet sanding, mr color is more delicate then revell enamel.
Is this color what you are refering to Wayne...( at least closer..))???

I think I finally got the hang of it and achieved the effect quite close....
on the bare plastic alclad dural alu...then alclad clear...then the Gunze mix in a very shallow coat....dry....grid 3000 wet sanding with the sandpaper barely touching the surface...just to clear the rivets...
Me think ready for the plane...!!!
