I agree. Bothers me too. It's the only championship of a major pro sport played at a neutral site. But with the spectacle it has become and the money involved, it will never change.

Football has one thing that peeves me they never play the Superbowl in the winter states outdoors it just ain't right. Whats good in the regular season should be good for the playoffs
However the Cowboys went 3 times in the 90s and won all 3 times, and the 49ers went 2 times in the 90s and won both times. That makes 50% of the decade and 50% of the decade won.
imagine they would but they don't have 7 hall of famers playing on the same team and 4 staright Super bowl appearances thats 40%of the decade that they were the AFC team
Small correction. The 49ers only won one in the 90s (1994).
The other four were in the 80s ('81, '84, '88, '89).
And they lost. The best means winning.

It was the 1989 season, but the Super Bowl was played in 1990.

I don't mean to minimize the achievements of those Bills teams. But they were not the team of the nineties.
Exactly my point, it was the 1989 season. As you know Super Bowls are always played in the year following the season of record.
I always give the 49ers credit for winning four in the '80s.
We might be splitting hairs here but I like to reference seasons for historical purposes, not Super Bowl dates.
For example, when talking about great defenses, nobody ever talks about the '86 Bears.
It's the '85 Bears.

Until I mentioned the Bills it seemed every other team except the Bills were mentioned I believe they are overlooked they may not have been the best team buy at least an honouable mention is deserved . They have a horrible record but still sell out in weather that would terrorize a Cowboy fan .

""My dad is a builder"…"My Mum is a lawyer"…and then the little guy said "Daddy is a stripper in the red light district, he goes out to work every night and comes back in the morning". Everybody was shocked and at the end of the class the teacher came to the boy to figure this out. "Is that what your father really does for living?" And the boy answered "No, actually he is a Bills player but it is so embarrassing to me to say so
