For my P-40B I am 'planning' on dry brushing the instrument panel. I know how to do the actual dry brushing but am curious........ Somewhere I was reading that the person used an airbrush to paint there control panel flat black, and then went ahead with the dry brushing. Can I use a brush to paint the whole panel, let that dry, and then do the dry brushing.... or do I need the airbrush?

I normally use a brush rather than an airbrush Harrison, just make sure your paint is well mixed and dont put it on too thick or you loose some of your detail.....best to do 2 thin coats or 1 if you get the mix right.
