That's the Ronald Reagan - CVN-76, San Diego (Coronado) is her homeport. The John F. Kennedy (CV-67) is mothballed in Philadelphia, though the new John F. Kennedy (CVN-79) is under construction.

Thanks all for your comments, and yep Dave it is the USS Ronald Reagan, I was sure glad to get a shot of it with the USS Midway.

Here are some shots from the Planes of Fame Air Show Preview and Twilight Show on Friday the 1st. I got better shots of the planes at twilight than I did going to the early morning sunrise shoot, it was overcast all morning, almost a wast of good money, I could have bought something for my camera

Thanks Aaron, it's nice to have some Air Shows to go to. They have another on the 16th at Hnger24 in Redlands, but they are talking about rain on that day.

Aaron I was going to mention my Wife got me a Canon 5DMKIII for my birthday, well birthday, fathers day and Christmas. It is taking a little getting use to all the buttons, dials and settings. Quite a difference in a full frame, I still use the 70D for action shots.
