Great pictures once again Merv.

We have a guy who drives his Alpaca around in the back of a van to old folks homes and the Hospice. He used to have it riding in the back of his car with the head and long neck sticking out the back window, the Alpaca was quite happy and used to it but the police weren't.

Thank all for your kind comments, I got to where I actually enjoy going to these quilt shows, you never know what you are going to find

Shinpachi, thank you, our nation has a long history of great quilt making, from our founding fathers to present. Women have been making quilts for our troops in combat from the Revolution to Afghanistan. There are some really beautiful quilts out there. 8)

Hey wheels, haven't seen you around in awhile. You do have to stop and just walk around, allot of antiques etc. Dave they just had their big car show last month I believe, so it's still an ongoing event. We could not make it we had other commitments

Just thought I would share a drawing I made taken from a picture I had from my Nam days. I still have a lot to learn on making skin tones Hope you like it.

Merv, I used to have fun cruising my '55 Buick CHP cruiser down there (or my '62 Chevy Nova)...had alot of fun! Glad to see some of the traditions still survive after all these years.

Really cool job on that image, skin tones can be really frustrating...even with all the practice I've had, it still drives me nuts trying to get the tones down pat...

Thank you for viewing my art and the gracious comments, Aaron and Dave. Aaron the program I use is called Xara Designer Pro 6. Here are a couple of pieces I did from pin ink drawings I did in 1978.

Here are some shots my wife took from the car window traveling from Vegas to Needles on Route 66, the last shots were taken between Primm and Baker, we call it Cat Mountain. The last one is coming down through Cajon Pass on the 215.
