P-40N USAAC, New Guinea 1944

    It's an old Ertl kit repacked by Italeri. I added Eduard PE, resin wheels and Master 50cals. I also riveted the whole thing and painted it with Alclad. It represents an AC flown by Major Johnson from 7th fighter sqd 49th fighter group in New Guinea.

    Nice work!. Usually you see these P40's in Olive Drab but the natural metal look is a bit different and very nice.
