There are better ways to hunt for submarines !!!!!Lancaster III ND759, one of fourteen aircraft whose mission was to attack factories in Friedrichshafen on 27th / 28th April 1944.
The Lancaster ditched on Lake Constance, Switzerland. It was to stay there until 1954 when it was recovered. It was scrapped
a year later.
