WOW!!!

I know what Ian is going to be doing next!

[Gnomey]

Excellent!

[Colin1]

Excellent!

As far as I'm aware
that's all three heavies available in 32nd scale, there used to be a vacform company called Combat Models, they produce(d) the B-24 and B-17, I had a friend who had a crack at the B-24, he described it as 'a bit rough'

Very nice! I like the feathered prop on the exposed engine, although if it had problems, I doubt the bombs would be loaded.

Hi guys
Found this while looking on the web
1/48

[Wayne Little]

Nice find Keith...I like it!

[Gnomey]

Good one!

[Crimea_River]

That is cool!

[Loiner]

That one won one of the UK IPMS shows, as best in show.

As for the real thing, I drive past it frequently on the A1 when heading down to east London. I remember seeing this model for the first time and loved it straight away having passed it enough times.

Excellent ! Darned shame about the real one though - I've seen it a couple of times too, and it sure has got worse over the years.

[Wayne Little]

Good to see the real thing too....makes the model all the better!

Wowee. That looks like real wood was used for that build.

[Airframes]

Excellent! And it certainly does look like real wood, from a tree !

[Gnomey]

Great model!

[vikingBerserker]

Nice!

[Wayne Little]

Man...that IS Well done!

[looney]

I browsed the complete thread.. he uses a binocular microscope.. the guns are smaller than a matchstick head

[Colin1]

Cockpit weathering is stunning
pilot's seat armour backplate looks real
exhaust staining on the panels forward of the door shows some real attention to detail

nice build
