SE I'm using your P-40 as an example for my son. He's chomping into his Academy P-40B in Flying Tigers livery. Well done, SE. I too like your scheme, you don't see it often.

thanks matt! I wish your son every luck in his latest model and I am very proud that you chose my model as an example for your son. Thanks again guys, reading through all these comments again has just made my day :)

just thought i would post a few pics of a diorama i made i 1:48..more or less a fantasydiorama of a airfiled in Norway during the war..
and all the small baracks and watchtower is scratcbuild.. and also put in some working lightpoles and a red light in the watctower..took me two years to build..its a flightline with three fighters and some activity around..one is getting ready for take off..one is standby and one has a overhaul ( the Fw 190 under overhaulig took me three different Fw kits to build and to get the way i wanted..

thanks..it took me two years and i keept adding details and more details, one day i figured i just had to say stop and call it finished ( but there is still some small details i will add one day..more dirt on the ground in the forrest and things like that..hehe also planning on making a 1:48 set to add to this ( other side of airstrip with a more exstensive overhaul area with Bf 109 enginechange and things like that..its all in the process..but takes time..
which i had more of that..time..

thanks..

what is crazy ( i was thinking about how stupid i was when i had done it..the little shed behind the Fw 190 has hinged doors..it moves..and the shed is filled up with spareparts for 109 and 190..shelfs and tools.. but that is just impossible to see.. it could just as well be empty.. LOL )

the other little shed has a Ww2 pintp poster on the wall and a spare 109 spinner hanging there also..will try and take some more detaild shoot one day

if you compare the other pics i posted where the shed is seen behind the Fw 190 you will see that the door is wideopen there but in a more closed position up here.. i just love details but sometimes it gets a bit over my head..
