Hi,Newby here.Bit of history;I used to build r/c planes,mostly flying wing.Losing the sight in one eye and arthritic hands put paid to that.I now get my fix assembling 3D printed planes.It's good discussing the design with the guy does the actual work,before they are printed by Shapeways.
The first I had made,before I found the Shapeways guy is the Horten HoXVIIIb.Designed using the original factory drawing and an artist's impression from Luft46.
'This was never actually built,it was designed to a brief calling for a bomber capable of carrying a bomb load to America.I've no doubts about the Horten brothers being able to build a flyable aircraft,but the jet engines wouldn't have lasted across the Atlantic.
Forgot to mention,these are all 1/60 scale,using 1/48 or 1/72 decals as I can find them.Brush painted with artists acrylic.
