Nice one. I remember seeing that somewhere many years ago.
Just a variation on the theme of miscommunication dating back over 100 years in the military. "Send three and fourpence we are going to a dance" was one I heard as a kid a long, long time back.

The version my Grandmother told me as a kid was: 'Jerry advancing Western Theatre. Send reinforcements.' which was received as:Just a variation on the theme of miscommunication dating back over 100 years in the military. My first daughter is visiting from out of state. While riding with her in her car, I was about to comment that she was driving 45mph on a 55mph road with a line of cars behind us. Older and wiser, I kept silent, thinking. My comment would have been, "You are driving like an old lady", however I realised she IS an old lady......NOW!
