I just found something interesting guys. Iwata makes a clear masking film six inches in width I'm not sure of the length but it can be used like I used the windshield wrap to mask canopies. It's a little pricey but I found it on HobbyLync for $11.79 a roll. I forgot the Product #. Sorry. It's IWAHM2MS

Is this like Frisk Film/Frisket? A graphic arts product that has been around for at least 35 years? If so, look at alternative sources of supply, such as art shops, as the same, or similar products can probably be found at a fraction of the cost compared to 'Model outlets'.
Just a thought ......
 
Arrived today......:D

Less than 40 bucks from HLJ, locally here saw the Italieri kit for $60 and $75 ! So i think I did ok...

also got a cockpit etch set for my Revell G-10 which will be a JG301 bird. and not obvious from the pic but the Eduard mask is a 1/32 Spiral set with a series of different shaped spirals....
