Thanks for the comments Terry. Not going to worry about the tail. With regards to the beaufighter nose, would I glue the NFII nose to the Mossie and then cut and graft the beaufight nose(which I already have as well) nose on at the appropriate width?

Yep, that's the idea. You'd need to blend it in and probably widen it in parts, using Milliput or similar, but should be straightforward. Without checking scale plans, it would probably work well if the Beau nose was turned upside down. Do you need, scale plans? If so, PM me an e-mail address and I'll see if I can find the right ones for you.

Not purchases as such - but a trade and a present!

Hasegawa 1:72 F4U-1D Corsair - from Jelmer for one of my Rukuhia aircraft graveyard dioramas (thanks mate!)

Fujimi 1:72 Nakajima C6N1 Saiun ('Myrt') - very nice surprise from my mate Hirohiko, who's uncle, Yasuo Fukuda, designed the original aircraft!

Good stuff Evan. You ought to put a notice in front of the completed model of the 'Myrt', describing that it came from the designer's nephew - a unique display piece if ever there was one !
