Good stuff George, I'll be interested to see how it goes together. I think those prop decals could be a bit of a b*gg*r to fit too!

Thanks for the advice.Nice one! That one's going to be my next WWII aircraft build - can't remember how much it cost me, but significantly more than you scored!
I'm planning to reconstruct a particular 135 Sq. RAF aircraft that flew out of Minneriya in 1944, when my late father was stationed there. No photos to work from, but a lot of background information.
I don't think I have anything much on 135 Sqn Hurricanes, but I have some info on 136 Sqn (The 'Woodpeckers'), both Hurricanes and Spitfires, collected when I did the three builds for the relations of Bob Cross, DFM, the highest-scoring RAF pilot in SEAC. But by 1944, they'd already converted to the Spit VIII, via the Spit V, so colour and marking details probably won't help much.
It seems that most available coverage of 135 Sqn centers around their Thunderbolts, but you could try the IWM and RAF Museum photo libraries, they try to help as far as possible with genuine researchers. We managed to get not only some photos, but film footage transferred to DVD.
