Just checked a few references, and it's not the frame I thought. It should fit with the side frames, presumably supplied, which should have the inner diagonal - see photo below.

Good stuff Wojtek, and saved me digging out my own pics! The one I posted was the nearest to hand at the time.
In isolation, the kit part looked rather strange at first, but is in fact correct, given the other frames are included in the kit.

I agree. Also I think it is just a kind of a simplification. Instead of two/three parts, I mean the indicator panel and the frame tubes, you get one piece.

Well done Jan, thought the Hasegawa kit was as scarce as rocking horse sh*t...

True Master Wayne, don't often see it, same as their Mk. IV version...

I'm 'watching' their MkIIc at the moment - keep missing it and the Revell re-boxing, so might have a dab at bidding on this one.

Best of luck old boy...
Any idea how Italeri's Mk. IIC version compare to Hasegawa/Revell?

Just got this as a gift.
Had no idea Revell had re-released their BV 222. So I now have two of these monsters, having previously picked up an old kit from ebay. The current plan is to build this new one in Luftwaffe markings, and to use the old kit with its elderly decals to model a captured 222 in British or US markings, if I can find enough photos to work from.

I do hope Eduard will reissue its paint masks for this kit, now that it's generally available again.
