Well...I was attacked and taken hostage......Really!!

It grabbed me and would not let go, so I was forced to take it.....

i could not take a picture to do it justice so I have borrowed a good shot from the Internet that says it all...My glass has a JG52 emblem on it.

Cheers Terry, that article would be great if you have a copy. Re the glasswork, Airifx canopies were great in their late '70s/ early '80s kits, then went bad around 1987/8 when they started producing them in that more glass like, but thicker, harder and distorted type plastic. This kit is from that period (late '80s/ early '90s)
 
I've just been having a close look at the new Revell 1/32nd scale Spitfire MkII kit I bought at 'Flying Legends'. I've found a number of things which, although they might not be classed as 'wrong', they certainly aren't quite 'right' either !
I'm guessing this is a result of it being modelled from a restored, airworthy example, based at Duxford. I'll post a review, covering these areas, when I have a little more time.
