On another note, I am going home to my other home in Beijing for 2 months and I am going to send back 1/24,1/32 and some 1/48 Trumpeter ww2's. They are cheap over there. When I get back I will let you know what I have and I will pass on the savings to all of you. If there is something you want me to get PM me and I will certainly do my best to get it for you. I leave Friday so let me know before then...Gary

Does this look about right? Heres my 1st attempt at a pilot. (not too bad,me thinks).Masked is 75. BTW just broke off the tail wheel gear

Looking good. But the layout of the camo spots seems to be a little bit out of the one for the WNF batches.

I was wondering when I was going to hear from you Air Marshall. This is what I was after. Didn't quite nail it,but close enough for my 2nd build. Better than the mk1 Spitty. No it's not good enough. I will mask and repaint where needed. I was going to build the Airfix 1/24 p51d BB doll, but my metallic painting skills are not there yet and I do not want to make a mess of it. So I think it will be the Hase 1/32 F6F-5 in FS15042 deep sea blue or the Academy 1/32 Neiport 17 so I can get some time in using metallics and trying my hand at rigging. Have a safe and wonderful New Year my model aircraft brothers...Jr. pilot Gary

Hey, not bad at all! Mottles look pretty good

Now, one thing to watch is the angle of the swastika. It should be in a perfect diamond pattern, with the points on the vertical and horizontal axes.

You saw that ah. I kinda botched the one on the left,it set up too quick and it started to tear so I did the best with a bad situation. I find swastika's kinda rare. Well on to the Hellcat
