Nice touch with the oil stain in the sand under the port 129 engine.

And a question, is the inner flap configuration on the 109 historically correct? Did they hinge above horizontal as depicted? And if so, even when the outter flaps were deployed (i.e., below horizontal)?

I have always been a fan of any kind of diorama. But man the work involved...

Keep 'em comin'.
 
Matt here is a bit of info, shows the upper flap does move upwards but does not indicate how far, it is rare to see them above the normal wing line.

"The radiator flap was divided into two sections with one mounted above the other [see Wayne's picture above]. The upper section which discharged the bypassed boundary later, normally moved up when the lower section traveled downward; therby providing control of the air flow through the radiator and preventing a change in lift."
