Only once Geo, on a military static line jump, when a Belgian Para went through my rigging lines on exit, collapsing the canopy - a very rare and unusual situation.
I've seen a few deployed when free-falling though, including one of the guys in my display team, who had a malfunction directly above the River Mersey, at Liverpool, during a display - and he managed to get into the arena too !
