I was called to a local supermarket one time to remove some behemouth spider that came in with a shipment of bananas. Talk about relief when I found it wasn't a poisonous type but damn that thing was huge. Almost the size of the one in that guy's hand.

I saw those bird eating spiders in French Guinan.

One of them made a home under the sink at the hotel bar.

I think it had caught a mouse or two and ate them.

Looked like a big Tarpon to me in that last pic before the cute little dancing kitty - but just looked at the other one and inclined to agree w/Matt about it looking like an Alligator gar..
