Can't remember what the US calls Deep Heat but it is a muscle relaxant containing active ingredients: methyl salicylate + menthol

Skydrol is an aircraft hydraulic fluid which is fire resistant at high temperatures but causes pain when it meets soft tissue like eyes, armpits and crotches.

If there were a dog aboard and this wasn't planned, the dog's remains should be at the crash site.

If he planned this and there really was a dog involved, there's gotta be animal cruelty charges anyway. And if there was no dog on board, then part of his story falls apart.
