Funny about that red...did the news people realize that one of Germany's greatest aces had an entirely red aircraft at one time or another?The news cast people that we were watching said the reason the tails were painted red was cause it scared the germans away and they didnt want to attack. So what happens I wonder, to the floats when they're finished with. Are they kept in a museum...much like what happens with prize winning floats after the 'Battle of Flowers' at Jesey in the Channel Islands ?...or are they destroyed. ?
