Oh, ok....I thought that the whole Aussie system was 1000 mm, how does that work then with two track widths?

Some AT&SF.....can you hear them working?

And some more D&RGW....

Lets see what i can come up with from my collection...it's been a while since I've had a chance to get some good train shots...I'm gonna have to go out and get some more soon.

1.)Amtrack southbound at King St Station, Alexandria VA 2005

2.)My wife waving to me trough and east bound stack train, Harper's Ferry WVA 2006

3.)UP Southbound on the Palmdale Cut off headed through Mormon rocks down into Cajon Pass, 2003

4.) Mother in Law with tied down Norfolk Souther coal train, Manassas VA 2004

5). BNSF Cody Local switching in Powell WY 2004

I'll have more later,
Art in DC

I grew up within a stones' throw of the B&O in Baltimore. Use to hop freights
all the time. Another favorite is the Pennsylvania. Of course, I'm talking
STEAM !!!

Charles

B&O had some good psssenger trains....

Capitol Limited · Cincinnatian · Columbian · National Limited · Royal Blue....

Capitol Limited.

The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad's new Columbian passenger train
in a publicity pose at Harpers Ferry, West Virginia in 1949....

I have a fondness for the railroads of Pennsylvania that served the steel industries.... like the "Penn RR", "B&O", "Reading", "Lehigh Valley", "B&LE".
