The Union Pacific has aquired Big Boy engine #4014 from the Railway and Locomotive Historical Society in Pomona, California and is moving it to the UP's Steam Shop in Cheyenne, Wyoming where it will be restored to operating condition.

If I'm not mistaken Glen, she's in Cheyenne now. They are setting up to start tearing her down. She will be converted to oil from what I have read so far but her trips will be confined to a select few rail paths do to her weight. With 3/4s of a load of fuel the engine and tender weighed 1.2 million pounds.
Jan, the sixth photo down in the last post looks to have been taken in St. Paul, Va. About 30 minutes from my house. The 2738 lead engine would be coming from Dante, Va.
