Beaut shots of the Spit formation - and the other formation is rather nice too !
Do we know where the aerial pics were taken?
The Spit is in 312 (Czech) Sqn, RAF, colours, and off the top of my head, I think it used to be a 'Gate Guardian' at RAF Acklington back in the 1950's/early 60's, before restoration and export to the USA, but I'd have to check the serial number to confirm.
I noted the German civilian registration on the Russian bird, and the landscape could be Germany or Czech Republic.
