Rounding of Portugal,

This little medieval village of Castelo Rodrigo seemed to have everything in small scale for at 187cm I had to do a lot of back bending to get in doors. My partner Hil comes in at 155cm.

They must also have had cold winter.

They may have also had water problems, this is the well all locked up.

After wandering Portugal from south to north we then went south for a few days at the beach to recuperate. The Atlantic Ocean could not have been kinder, it was like a millpond and refreshing to swim in.

Back on my travels, its 2014 and for me a milestone in my life so, it was October and a bit cold at home, so with some family and friends in tow, we went for some warmth in Bali for a few days.

Staying in Ubud to start with, this little Water Palace was right next door to our small and traditional hotel.

This last one is refereed to by my family as my spirit animal, probably because I'm always amazed by them.

With my love of collecting photos of flowers I was in my element where we stayed in Ubud, they had lovely gardens round the bungalows.
