After making a little input the outer day I thought I'd resurrect this thread carrying on from where I left off. It was a holiday from a number of years back. It's been a couple of harrowing years but lucky for us, the impact has been minimal, though we did have our last planed holiday cancelled in 2020 we were lucky enough to have recouped almost all our costs. Since then life has been quite coveted but we are now venturing interstate and enjoying some of the refined eating. Anyway, to continue with the pics, were still in Salamanca, Spain which is a university city. Here we have some of the fine and ancient architecture of this fine city.

If you look closely, they are little shells all over the wall.

The narrow alleys help to keep it cool on hot days

Not sure what this is but the wall is covered in these writing all in the same colour and have something to do with the students who have gained there honours. Sergio may enlighten us.

The intricacy of the architecture is intriguing.

Another of the writing on the wall.

Just by way of a change I'm introducing some of my flower shots that have been collected over the years. Hopefully they will bring a bit of brightness and a smile into your day, I have them as screen savers and they never cease to amaze me. I used to put them on FB but as I no longer have an active account that I can access, what better way to bring some joy into our daily live. I hope you all enjoy even if you not the green finger type.

I'm not going to name each flower, I do know most of them, but maybe you can have a guess. :D

The great doors to the New Cathedral in Salamanca, built between 1513 and 1733 and has had recent renovations. The old Cathedral adjoins the new but was built in the 12th century.
