Thanks for dripping by folks. Moving on we have a couple of very much Balinese style decoration.

Here we have the villa pool where we stayed on the second part of our holiday. "Oh" how I would like to be there now in the worm and away from the frosty mornings we have been having.

This villa was at Echo Beach where all the surfers go, not that we were looking for surf, it hard enough standing on my own two feet on dry land.

I love the way they have the open air showers in Bali.

Also liked the simple artwork.

We had a couple of other guests to cater for.

This was Echo Beach, nice and shallow and a bit of a walk to the surf.

Have a good day all.

Thanks for calling in folks, I trust you all enjoyed Bali. Off to a new location today, a quick trip to Hamilton Island in September 2015.

As is my want, we'll start off with a little splash of colour from the tropical isle.

and the view from our room with the pool in the foreground.

Thanks for popping in folk. Were still on Hamilton Island and taking a boat trip out to one of the more swimable beaches on Whitsunday Island which is all national park.

This first shot is of the beach were we were staying and the huge hotel. We were in the small more bouquet beachfront lodgings seen to the left of this pic.

This is Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island, we had a couple of hours here but there was no shade, the scrub and trees behind the beach were supposedly off limits as it was National Parks land. It was a lovely beach though and the water crystal clear.

Looking across to Haslewood Island from the beach.

This is a quicker mode of transport to get to the beach. Another rule of the beach was that nothing was allowed to moor on the beach.

Our transport was a little slower and to get on or off one got the feet wet.
