OK, for those who are "lichen" my pics, here's a few more.
Kyle of Lochalsh. For any of you UK guys who may remember the Hamish Macbeth TV series, this was where it was filmed.
Our little cruise ship "Lord of the Glens".
The industrial side of Kyle of Lochalsh. Timber awaiting shipment and the logs were cut to this length so that the articulated trucks could negotiate the narrow bendy roads (so I was told).

On one setting I had to buck logs for a Chinese contact ; nothing over 16' otherwise their railcars couldn't negotiate corners. If I was having a bad day, they would get the occasional 17 footer
