Went trough some of that from grade school to junior high. I fought every little POS who dared after the 5th grade to 7th(you could back then).I think it was by the 8th grade people stopped F@#$in with me a fight was coming and I was getting better.My Son had a problem in HS I told him "fight him" he said"I get suspended" I said "go for it" they both got suspended for 3 days he became free.The word Prick(s) plural complicates things.

These days they are in packs, and much bigger.

I've given all my kids the same advice. Just knowing that your parents have got your back gives them so much confidence. The bullies catch on and move on to easier prey.

I had taught my last daughter basic boxing and how to properly throw a punch. One day after school, she made a comment about a girl bully hitting people as well as my daughter. I said that I thought I had taught you how to handle that problem. She said, "I know, Dad, but they always catch the one who hits back, just like in football."
I know my instruction was well learned a year or two later at a family gathering when she suddenly turned and punched her male cousin on his bicep. The cousin had been teasing all evening and I didn't see the actual punch so I commented, "That wasn't much. I know I taught you better than that." My daughter's boyfriend, now son in law, said to me, "She hit him pretty good." I later saw the cousin rubbing his shoulder.
So, a job well done

Well not a great start with the new job.

It is a secure site and when i turned up to start work they wouldn't let me in.

Tried contacting anyone i could, got a reply 2 hours later that they were contacting the site and will be back in touch.

That was 90 minutes ago !

Well better news, they just called, apologised for the security mix up and I'm going in tomorrow now !

My most stressful drive was driving into an ice storm in Texas. The most terrifying 20mph I have ever driven.

Once in Rochester NY I couldn't figure why it snowing heavily with bright sunshine. Then, realized I was driving parallel to the Genese River. Turned and continued two blocks away, snow free. Winter lesson on snow effect for southern boy.

You'd be surprised at how many northerners get bit by black ice down here..asphalt or dark concrete road with just enough ice to fill the surface irregularities, and little to no color change.

I have a hydraulic floor jack that will fix that.

You take the handle off and use that as a Bully Alignment Tool.

Best used in conjunction with a 4X4 pickup truck in case you need to dispose of something.
