On Friday 19th February died a man with whose music I grew up and loved it very much, singer and songwriter Đorđe Balašević. I'm very saddened by his premature passing, he was only 67. People from all former Yugoslavia are today united in grief as he was uniting us through his music. Pictures below show people mourning and remembering him in towns like his native Novi Sad, Belgrade, Niš, Zagreb, Sarajevo, Pula...

Most of you probably never heard of him, but foreign media did report his passing.
