Finally finished Effie's portrait revisions in color and ready for printing and framing on my wall. Started with this black and white with a number of printing flaws and ended up with this portrait of Sweet Effie. She was so very beautiful.

I will be interviewed by the local television station about my project with blend pictures. Together with a local historian we are trying to recreate photos taken in Dordrecht, The Netherlands during WW2 and blend them. We started a facebook page where we will post a picture twice a week. I also started a thread here with some of those photos.

Just saw that Fagen Fighters Museum in western Minnesota is hosting 2 events in the coming month.
First is a showing of a film on the OSS Carpetbaggers Ops on Memorial Day monday, this is an event you must sign up for, but is free. They also hope to fly warbirds in the afternoon weather permitting.
Next is a D-Day Invasion Memorial on the 6th of June. Also will fly with weather permitting.
I'm looking to be there for both events and hope to see their P-47 in the air, supposed to have a Razorback Thunderbolt flying in as well. No better reason to take a Thursday off from work IMHO.
