Sounds interesting!L'Armée des ombres (Shadows Army) by Jean-Pierre Melville (1969).
The most realistic French Résistance movie, notably a shot including a night pick up of clandestine agents with an authentic Lysander.
What a creep that guy is!Murdaugh murders.
I've seen bits and pieces of that movie, and they were very good, but I still wanna see the whole thing.

As for the question at hand...just finished up Mr.&Mrs. Smith and now The Bone Collector is starting.
Yeah, it looks really good!
Good choices! Now add "Run Silent, Run Deep".Air Force, Battleground, 30 seconds over Tokyo, and later today 12 O' Clock High. It's a military bingewatch today. Gotta get a refill, so see ya' later.
Gregory Peck is amazing in 12 o'clock High. Dean Jagger as well.Air Force, Battleground, 30 seconds over Tokyo, and later today 12 O' Clock High. It's a military bingewatch today. Gotta get a refill, so see ya' later.
Just found this comparitive of the Netflix piece, compared to the 1930 piece.I watched the new "All quiet on the western front" on Netflix. The war action is as real as can be expected and it's entertaining.
Although not a bad movie, I'm missing key parts of the book and the 1930 version. Like Paul coming home for leave, feeling very estranged from his family at home. I feel that psychological part in the the original story is very key for its anti-war message and it's unfortunate they left it out. Probably the modern audience don't have the patience for the slower narrative, so I guess it's normal that they changed it for some more fast action. As you can tell, I prefer the 1930 version but it's not a bad movie by any means and well worth watching. And after you've done that, try to get hold of a copy of the 1930 one.
