One of my all-time favorite movies and sound-tracks (Promontory has to be the best track) and a funny side story:
When the movie came out, I lived in Southern California and would occasionally go up to L.A. (great nightclub scene in those days) where I was mistaken for Daniel Day Lewis on quite a few occasions.
Add to that, when I had to show my ID, I'd get a grin and a nod (his initials were DDL and my initials are DWL) because they assumed I was he incognito.

Soooo...who was I to argue?

I remember reading an article in Motor Trend magazine on that car back in the early-mid 1970's.
My question is, if you take the supercharger off the Merlin, doesn't that make it a Meteor?

I know what you mean. They've come a long way and use real tanks(for the most part). The settings for their battlefield are really in the field. The set up, the guys playing soldiers and even the battles themselves push are very well done. You're right, some aren't very good, but most I've seen are pretty good.

Actually, it was a real life colonist by the name of Nathaniel Shipman, who was captured young, adopted, and raised by the Mohicans, who we call Mohawks today. He fought for the British and colonists in the Seven Years War, but elected to be a loyalist in the Revolution, and suffered accordingly. Hawkeye is spoken to as "Nathaniel" in the movie.

Just saw the new Shazam movie.
I have to admit, it wasn't too bad!
Some pretty cool storylines goin' on and a couple of plot twists I didn't see coming.

The "Sand Pebbles" is a great movie. Steve McQueen proved that he can really act and the story is compelling. The Chinese assistant also played an excellent role. The music was outstanding, to!
