I like all music From progressive jazz electronic to opera and I have been lucky to see most of it in concert first live show was Dessmond Dekker very shortly after followed by Floyd(Floyd where somewhat better) last one was Vanessa Mae 5 months ago. Best ones where Queen 76 Hyde park also in the 70's filmharmonic with Elmer Bernstien. Ron Goodwin, John barry Miklos Rossa. best musical show Les Misrables.
so I cant really say I have one favorite type of music perhaps Floyd still takes the edge for bands but shit I also like Semisonic, I give up guys.
I like music that about covers the lot (eccept hip hop most rap and most chamber music)

Cheddar, you got some good bands. Only a few missing
NickleBack
(Classic): ELVIS! Gotta love Jail House Rock, and Hound dog
(Classic): Beach Boys, ::sigh:: less acclaim than the Beatles, but still pretty good.

Of course I have good bands.

Nickelback are good, but I wouldnt class them amongst my favourites...Elvis was the first CD iI ever got and Ive always liked him, and the Beach Boys are only really great to listen to when playin shoot-'em-ups :D

jrk:

do you know a British band named -formerly- Fields of the Nephilim?

jrk and all of you:

Do you happen to know a band named Mudvayne?

I am not too fond of metal, but those guys are something.

Download the video of a song named "DIG"...absolutely 100% explosive.

Not that it was an expensive video, it is just it was brilliantly made.

It´d appear they do not use make up anymore.

I have never found any make up wearing bands particularly interesting.

Mudvayne, however, made a different story. Thei make up on "DIG" is absolutely awesome.

During the video their faces appear real fast having a BRIGHT WHITE background that makes their make up appear only even more explosive.

A highly recommended band.

Dig is a great song, one of my favorites. Unfortunately theres only like 2 or 3 other songs that are any good by them....
