I have two kinds of Iris on the garden but don't know the type. All I know is one is yellow and one is purple. The yellow ones flowered out already but the purple ones are at peak.

Nothing spectacular, just a small hand size Nikon Coolpix S8100 with a 10x wide optical zoom. Works a treat and slides easily into my pocket.

Well, it makes spectacular photos.

A nice display of a bearded iris Andy, can't say what it is called but if you Google North American iris, they'll tell your at some point there are something like 92 known verities.

For today I have a summer crocus which was captured in Claude Monet's Garden, just outside Paris and something more local, an Early Nancy from our last springs amazing growth after years of drought.
