Well, you've got an altimeter to measure the height above sea level, an ASI to measure how fast you're going, so all you really have to measure is the distance on the map - and you've got your whizz wheel for that !!

I applied putty to the P-40 yesterday and I'm sanding it off right now. she's looking great! but I don't know if I should attach the prop, because I want a seamless spinner. what do you guys think?
 
I took a shot and glued the prop and spinner to the plane, and I've also applied putty to the spinner, and yes it is spinning. I'll just have to be very careful when sanding, tomorrow.
 
it could be a miracle or something, but I've sanded off the spinner and it is smooth as the H-1 Racer's fuselage! I don't have enough primer nor enough money for primer atm. thank god I get paid in a week
