Looks great Karl, how'd you get the MG covers to finally fit? Have one in the stash as well!

i glued some small tabs of plastic inside the where the cover meets the fuselage to help keep the edges glued down
i also found i had to sand down the top part of where the cockpit meets the gun bay so the rear of the cover would line up correctly if that makes sense  :D
i found you have to be very, very careful with all the engine and MG fittings or everything forward of the cockpit will be out of whack !!!!

I will get off my behind and post some pics of the Gannet soon. However, I need to acquire a decent camera and have a slightly less hectic life in '1:1' first :rolleyes:

Too many. Mk.22 and MM my priorities but I keep adding deals to fill my USS Yorktown group. I want to do one of every type that served on both Yorktowns, CV-5 and CV-10. 10 was classified as three catagories in it's history. CV-10 (WWII), CVA-10 (attack) and CVS-10 (anti-submarine), until it was decommissioned and made into a floating museum. I served in HS-4 on the 62-63 cruise.
