I've started work on my 2nd plane, the VC-118 The Independence. I've installed the playdoh to keep the weight from moving, and I've assembled the fuselage, and the wings, and the fuselage to the wings. I'm not putting the tailplanes on just yet. that'll be done at the very end when I'm almost finished with the bird.
 
Because the Texan build is almost finished I have started something new.I decided to make 1/48 scale Sea Fury of Kitech that is a quite miserable imitation of Hobbycraft kit. Thanks to Wayne it will be a kite based in the Nowra airbase.

Wayne , again I would like to thank you so much for these decal markings.

It seems the indicator panel has to be scrach-built.Are you going to do that or you can use PE parts?

I know where there still are some, at a 'reasonable' price. More than the original retail price, but not as daft as some of the prices I've seen being asked for this kit.
 
btw there's something different with this model. I've masked the windshield. twas pretty easy. wish it were always that easy
