Steel wheels make it a late model. Rubber early or mid. See the chart.

The pics are of an early to mid production Tiger as the wheels are the original solid rubber tyre type.
The later rims had a a different shape closer to the outside with a row of bolts between the centre bolts and the
outer rim. These held a plate with rubber behind it. No rubber on the outer rim.
Original type which was used to get the Tiger in production even though it was known the weight would destroy
them. This went on until May 1944 due to delays with the new type.
The steel wheels in this pic show the difference.
The steel rims were much better and allowed a reduction from three rims per arm to two. The blacked out rims
were no longer fitted with the steel sets taking the wheel number on each side from 24 down to 16. Another
advantage was that wheels were no longer required to be removed when fitting the narrower tracks for rail
transport.
Modelling wise you can do what you like as many earlier Tigers were refitted with the later wheels so a picture
of a Tiger A with steel wheels doesn't mean the tank is actually a newer one. Clear as mud really.
The next time someone rants to you about having had to change a flat just tell them it could be worse, they could
have bought a Tiger.

I can't figure out how to give you winner and baconI am kinda calling this one done.The build was different and fun the dio is not a strong point for me but it kinda works I may still paint the stones a more grey color

Nicely done good sir.I am kinda calling this one done.The build was different and fun the dio is not a strong point for me but it kinda works I may still paint the stones a more grey color

In accordance with a colour profile of Tiger 1 '334' Geo sent me, cut off one of the track guards. Luckily the plastic is thick enough to not need filling or building up behind.
The one ahead of it needs to be buckled a little at the front too, and support brackets made for the missing guard.
