Thanks Geo she came out decent might try another one day just better decals I even think I have a Revell/Monogram in the stash one of the tails was not totally formed could scratch it.

Unmasking day for a Monogram SBD. I tried Javlin's tip of using aluminum foil when masking. The canopy was masked with Vallejo liquid mask, I need to clean up the canopy and touch up the ribs. The model is built out of the box, except I didnt use the bomb release level. I'm using the kit to play with new techniques. I'm going to try panel lining. The old Monogram kits are good to experiment with different skills and techniques.

Dang, Bill. That sucks. I've had an office chair for years. On wheels, rotates and it reclines a bit but I put that in lock. I love the wheels as I can zip between workbench, paint rack, spray booth and photo-booth at great speed

I bought a nice high end office chair a few months ago from FB Market Place. The owner of a local engineering firm was retiring and liquidating the office furniture. I think I paid $10. Deals are out there for nice chairs.

Had one for years, replaced it with a nice comfy one lat year...............
but alas, no longer comfy! Does all you describe, but!I am fighting a losing battle!

I know how you feel Bill. I tried a bit of modelling today, first time in many months.
It worked, but it was uncomfortable, awkward and painful. Took around 3 to 4 hours of struggling to accomplish what would normally take around 45 minutes to an hour of simple work.
Been working on a 1/48th scale Takom Panther Ausf. A, adding some internal detail taken from the Bandai Pz. IV kit (that one will be modelled with hatches closed, so not wasting the detail parts).
Gun breech and recoil guard adapted and fitted to Panther gun, along with a MG34, gearbox, final drive, prop shaft and turret floor used from the Pz.IV, and engine bay blanked off.
Still to scratch-build radios and instrument panel, front seats and a couple of small details, but not going fully detailed, as it won't be seen.
