The B5N2s (2 from Hiryu and one from Akagi had their decals applied. The MYK decals for the Hiryu required a little more effort, but the Micro Sol made them behave. I think I am adding two cranes and some little extras to one side of the deck. Going to require some scratch building because it's tough to find such things in 1/144 scale.

Thanks guys. Upon more research, the two side cranes are down when they are launching. Still, I was thinking about adding them because they can be slighlty visible. The main pagoda next to the bridge, is visible on the deck. I found the netting after much searching. Not made in that scale, but I found an alternative. The beams holding the netting will come out of the spares box. The pagoda is going to take some cobbling together. Fortunately I have the excellent book by Stefan Draminski as a reference guide.

While waiting for the other items to arrive for my Hiryu Project, I am starting on the other project I have wanted to do. I was pretty stressed last year, so I didn't do much. Sometimes it gets hard to take of four kids by yourself, but it really helps that with the exception of the oldest, they are pretty good. They can get feisty, but that's the me DNA coming out. I really like the Nakajima Ki-27, so I will be slapping three of those together. Once I found Print Scale's sets 1-3 again, I decided to use them. They go on great and settle on with no problems. They also look darned nice.I will be using set 1 and 3.

These went on better than I thought they would. I dreaded trying to do them because they are so tiny. But I do like how they look compared to how they used to be.

They hug the plastic really nice. See I missed one. Better get it before I install and close them up.
Takes a bit of patience but they really add a lot don't you think?
