I like the painted up F-18. I have similar pics of Canadian CF-18's painted in different schemes.
It seems like a popular bird to paint.

Nah mate I'm not in the Army any more, just been far too busy at work and around the house. And on top of that, there's been a fair bit of cricket on the telly, so that's been taking up a fair bit of my spare time!

Is the M-16 standard for the commandos, or is it left to personal choice? I ask because I noticed the fella in one of those pics wasn't carrying the standard Aug rifle.

I think it comes down to personal choice, but the majority of our SF soldiers prefer the M-4 over the F88 Austyer, though I'm not sure why. I personally liked the styer, very light and easy to use.
